Building sustainable communities
We have been supporting communities across Ireland to become more sustainable for many years and we still want to do more.
Musgrave is the biggest supporter of local producers in Ireland. Local suppliers produce some of the best products on the market, and they are generating local employment and cutting carbon emissions by reducing food miles. Our Food Academy programme gives small producers the chance to reach far more customers.
Meanwhile, the GAA is a real part of our national identity. We’ve been keeping the nation active by supporting our national sport for over 10 years. As well as sponsoring the GAA Football All-Ireland Senior Championship, our brands and retail partners will contribute over €2.6 million to grassroots GAA clubs across the country this year. In this way, we hope to make communities vibrant and keep that sense of pride in their local areas and national sport.
