This year SuperValu Signature Tastes Rib Eye Steak won a Bronze Award at the recent World Steak Challenge which took place in London.
Now in its 4th year, the competition is judged by a panel of experts, who gave each steak a score based on an internationally agreed set of criteria. A total of 22 countries participated in this year’s World Steak Challenge – a record number since the competition began in 2015 – with 200 steaks from 35 different breeds.
The Award for the SuperValu Signature Tastes Rib Eye Steak reflects the global endorsement of producer standards in our beef supply chain from farmer to processor, in addition to the controls SuperValu has in place to continuously monitor the quality of its products.
