SuperValu to sell €3.3 million worth of Irish turkeys over Christmas

SuperValu, Ireland’s leading community supermarket, has announced that it expects to sell €3.3 million worth of Irish whole turkeys over the 2013 Christmas period. These 100% Irish turkeys, which customers can pre-order now from SuperValu outlets nationwide, will be available in-store from the 20th December.

Supplied by Monaghan based Grove Turkeys Ltd and IGWT Poultry Services Ltd, all SuperValu branded whole fresh turkeys are Bord Bia approved.

This Christmas, SuperValu customers can collect points towards a half price turkey as well as receiving 5% off their Christmas shop as part of SuperValu’s Real Rewards Scheme. A variety of turkey options will also be available in-store including boned and rolled, crowns and joints.
