SuperValu spreads #goodfoodkarma at National Ploughing Championships

24th September 2015

Great things happen when people meet up and share fantastic food, and last week SuperValu was at the National Ploughing Championship spreading a whole lot of #goodfoodkarma.

SuperValu’s Good Food Karma Live marquee kept visitors well-fed and entertained with a host of live demos and activities throughout the three-day event. Well-known chefs and foodies, including Young World Chef of the Year Mark Moriarty, Roz Purcell, expert butcher Alan Walker and Kevin Dundon showed visitors how to create delicious and healthy dishes with SuperValu’s range of fresh produce.

After the recent All-Ireland win, Sam Maguire’s arrival on day two created huge frenzy and excitement, and guest of honour was Simon Coveney, Minister for Agriculture, Food, the Marine and Defence.

In total over 70,000 food enthusiasts enjoyed some #goodfoodkarma during the Championships, sampling tasty delights from 25 Food Academy suppliers in the SuperValu marquee. Click here for some video highlights from the event.
