Musgrave NI owned SuperValu and Centra stores have been announced as finalists in the UK-wide 2023 Forecourt Trader Awards, recognising the brands’ excellence in modern convenience retailing. The announcement follows the brands receiving a total of 14 shortlists at the Retail Industry Awards last month.
SuperValu Portstewart, which underwent a £1.1 million refurbishment in August 2022, is a finalist in three categories – Best Community Engagement, Best Customer Service and Best Food-To-Go Outlet – while Centra Mallusk will battle for the title of Best Forecourt Northern Ireland (up to 4mlpa – million litres per annum) and Best Coffee and Hot Beverages Outlet.
Commenting on the shortlists, Head of Retail Operations at Musgrave NI, Caroline Rowan, said:
