Finlay’s Centra, Whitemountain were delighted to host a family fun day earlier this month to support the Ulster Grand Prix Bike Week at which they sponsored the Supersport race for the first time. On Friday 12th August the Lisburn store welcomed customers of all ages with fantastic giveaways from the Q Radio street team, face-painting, games, bouncy castle, goody bags.
Alongside a guest appearance from Mr Tayto, and a meet and greet with some of the top Ulster Grand Prix riders, there were opportunities to sample the new Centra deli gourmet range. Customers also enjoyed tasting sessions from Tayto, Walkers, Swift Fine Foods, Andrew’s Bakery, Little Big Shot and Britvic.
Sam Finlay, owner of Centra Whitemountain, said: “We are passionate about road racing and have been for many years, in fact I was a mechanic back in the 80s for Martin Barr and Johnny Rea. Then in 2003 I met a very young Guy Martin and he ended up racing for us and living on the current Whitemountain site.
“We ran our own successful team for many years, Team Racing with riders including Adrian Archibald, Conor Cummins and Paul Hunt, and we currently support local rider Declan Hoey who competes at the Mondello Masters. The event is just a mile from our shop and we always support it with special offers and deliveries to the paddock.”
We hope everyone had a fantastic day!
