At Musgrave we’re passionate about giving back to the community and each year Musgrave Wholesale Partners (MWP) nominate a charity to work with. This year the chosen charity was the Simon Community, a fantastic charity supporting homelessness in local communities.
The Simon Communities deliver support and services to over 7,000 people and families across Ireland who experience or are at risk of homelessness every year.
In late July employees from our Musgrave Wholesale Partners (MWP) in Dublin and Galway took part in a 12 hour sponsored sleep out to raise awareness and fundraise for the Simon Community in those towns!
The sleep out was just one of the events to support of the Simon Communities around Ireland. MWP employees are going to be involved in loads of activities for fundraising and creating awareness in Galway, Limerick, Waterford, Dublin and Cork for local Simon Community charities.
Our HR Director Catherine said “The Simon Community does incredible work to provide essential services to some of the most vulnerable people in our local communities and we are very pleased to be able to lend them our support and help them to achieve their goals.”
We’re so proud of the team who participated and are looking forward to continuing to support Simon Community charity in the coming months!
