Telesales Operative

We are recruiting for a Telesales Operative working 24 hours per week, fully flexible to work shifts 07:30am - 6pm Monday - Friday, weekend work as and when required.

Reporting to the Telesales Office Manager, the person appointed will be responsible for the following areas:


- Making pro-active telesales calls
- Taking orders/enquiries over phone
- Processing orders
- Informing customers of sales promotions

- Maximising the distribution of Foodservice/Retail products to our client base
- Support BDM`s with pricing, cold calling and upselling
- Provide support in processing of credits

The ideal candidate will have/be:

Experience:

Essential:
– 6 months sales/ customer service experience
– The successful candidate will have excellent organisational, administrative and interpersonal skills.
– The candidate must be able to work as part of a team in a busy sales environment
– Proficiency in the use of computer packages is essential

Education:

Desirable: - Previous Telesales experience in food service would be a distinct advantage
