Reorder Planner

Role Purpose: The Reorder Planner is responsible for stock replenishment, stock management and stock levels for Musgrave Wholesale Partners. To optimize inventory levels to ensure 100% product availability while ensuring minimum exposure to excess inventory and product write off.

Key Activities:

  • Management of inventory to ensure 100% availability to support customer demand.
  • To ensure the business achieves stock management targets.
  • Utilize the ERP system for processing Purchase Orders and controlling inventory
  • Devise, implement and manage supply chain projects that deliver added value services and cost benefits
  • Review operating systems, procedures and practices on an ongoing basis, recommending any changes to improve operational effectiveness and efficiency to reduce costs
  • Identifying and challenging safety stock levels, MOQ`s and supplier lead-times as part of your inventory management.
  • Inventory analysis and reporting.
  • Measuring and Managing Supplier delivery performance.
  • Measurement of inbound / outbound service levels
  • Forecasting promotional and seasonal activity across all channels
  • Support Warehouse team to achieve maximum efficiency.
  • Communicate Product availability/recovery to Sales team.
  • Support new customer and new product launches`

Skills and Experience:

  • Self-motivator.
  • Strong working knowledge of MRP/ERP systems
  • Excellent analytical skills.
  • Excellent communicator.
  • Proficiency in Ms Excel.
  • Ability to work in a fast moving, dynamic environment
  • An understanding of forecasting activity and supplier management
  • Previous experience in Inventory Planning essential.
  • Track record in the process development to drive continuous improvement
