Role duties:

Reporting to the Store Manager, the successful candidate will be required to process bill payments, lodgements, reporting and balancing of their own Stock Unit and ability to demonstrate knowledge of Post Office services in compliance with Financial Standards and Authority guidelines. As this position will involve regular contact with customers, good communication skills is a must. Applicants must have excellent attention to detail and the ability to work well under pressure.

The ideal candidate will have/be:

Desirable criteria:

  • A minimum of 3 GCSE`s (or equivalent) at grade C or above, and previous cash handling experience
  • Alternatively we will consider applicants with no formal qualifications but have 6 months meaningful experience in a similar role
  • Working knowledge of the Horizon System is desirable
