We are now inviting applications for the position of Driver Class 2 for Musgrave MarketPlace, based out of Duncrue, Belfast. This is a part time position.

The key responsibilities of this position will include (but not limited to):

  • Multi-drop deliveries within City Centre locations and across Northern Ireland
  • Provide an effective, efficient, and flexible service to all suppliers, customers, and colleagues through carrying out all functions relating to driving duties, including timely deliveries, accurate administration, and adherence to EU Transport Legislation
  • Check and complete all invoices and paperwork on time and in spec
  • Check and report loads / products and vehicles for defects
  • Adhere to all Basic Food Safety and HACCP requirements
  • Build excellent customer relationships
  • Communicate effectively with Telesales and Sales Representatives
  • Vehicles to be maintained in a roadworthy condition with any defects being reported to the supervisor daily
  • Adhere to all Health and Safety legislation
  • Ensure route and customer knowledge
  • Adhere to assigned route schedule
  • Flexibility is required for this role

The ideal candidate will have/be:

The successful candidate will have:

  • Full clean C class Licence
  • CPC Qualification
  • Good geographical knowledge of surrounding area
  • Knowledge of EU Transport Legislation
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work to set deadlines and to self-motivate
  • Ability to work on own initiative
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Good product knowledge
