General Assistant/Van Driver

Role and Responsibilities

Customer deliveries
- Relevant paperwork completed in an accurate and timely manner at all times
- All returns and damages to be reported on return to depot
- Health & Safety and HACCP regulations to be complied with at all times
- Vehicles to be maintained in a roadworthy condition with any defects being reported to the supervisor on a daily basis
- Provide an effective, efficient and flexible service to all suppliers, customers and colleagues alike, through carrying out all functions relating to the warehouse, including order assembly, administration and checking
- Accurate and efficient picking of orders and completion of paper work
- Ensure incoming and outgoing of loads with regards to efficiency, safety and legal requirements
- Excellent customer service, cash handling & checkout operational skills. Merchandising, display and general housekeeping duties will also form part of the role.
Flexibility is required for this role.

The ideal candidate will have/be:

Education, Skills & Experience

Essential:
- This person will have a minimum of 6 months experience in a similar role
- Full, clean driver`s license
- Good geographical knowledge of Limerick region
- Good product knowledge
- Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
- The ability to work under pressure
- The ability to work on own initiative
- Excellent Customer Service skills
- Full flexibility - weekend work may be required

Desirable:
- Forklift license
