Digital Marketing Specialist - Technical

We are now inviting applications for a Digital Marketing Specialist within our Marketing team in Cork. As a member of the Digital Content Team the purpose of this role is to grow the business through the execution of the digital communications and to lead the development of the digital communication strategy with clarity, innovation and passion for the business.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Manage digital communications calendar and the design, segmentation, delivery and reporting of the communications – specifically email.
  • Thoroughly test email customer experience across campaigns
  • Build and update on-brand, best-in-class email templates
  • Draft documentation and procedures
  • Analysis and reporting of campaigns performance
  • Support the development and execution of the approach to optimise the content and volume of communications by shopper type
  • Design Creative for various Digital Marketing Campaigns
  • Design work includes but is not limited to gifs, animation, video and images
  • Work cross functionally and within Marketing team to sure that briefs are adhered to and effective & engaging creative is delivered
  • Development and maintenance of effective relationships with key stakeholders and cross- functional working is also a requirement of the role
  • Achievement of brand targets with a strong understanding of the customer segments and how their functional and emotional needs are met.

      

The ideal candidate will have/be:

The successful candidate will possess the following:

  • 5 years of experience as Digital Content Specialist or similar
  • BSc degree in Marketing, Digital Media or relevant field
  • Experience with visual communication methods
  • Good knowledge of Photoshop, Adobe Creative Cloud Suite, Final Cut Pro, Audacity or other media editing software
  • Experience within the Retail/FMCG industry advantageous
  • Need to be creatively strong and demonstrate an understanding and passion for the latest trends in food, digital media and social.
  • Experience in HTML, CSS and overall Web Design
  • Experience with various content management systems
  • Experience with Social Media Advertising (eg. Facebook Ads Manager)
  • Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on company’s success
  • Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
  • Team player with great interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong Attention to Detail
  • Knowledge of GDPR
  • Experience working with databases and knowledge of SQL
