We are delighted to announce an exciting opportunity for an experienced Deli Manager for one of our Donybrook Fair Malahide store.

Responsibilities and Duties will include:

  • · Responsible for overall day to day Deli and Bakery operations
  • · Supervising & directing colleagues
  • . Food preparation & ordering
  • Waste management within the department
  • · Responsible for Deli and Bakery display presentation
  • · Providing excellent customer service and assistance in all areas of the fresh food counters
  • Deal with customer quesries and customer complaints within the department
  • · Working as part of a team but also being a good leader to the team
  • · Be knowledgeable and comply with all legislation in relation to Food, Health and Safety and Underage sales.
  • ·Ensuring excellent standards of hygiene and cleanliness at all times
  • Weekly department roster & colleague holiday management

 

The ideal candidate will have/be:

The ideal candidate:

  • Minimum of 2 years proven experience as a Deli Manager or similar, food handling, leadership role.
  • Good team leader
  • Passionate about good food
  • Passionate about teaching and guiding own team to ensure their growth within the department
  • Familiar with all Deli procedures, including stock take and waste management
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Enthusiastic and confident with a "Can do" attitude
  • Willing to provide a friendly and efficient service
  • Team player, willing to get involved across all aspects of shop operations.
  • Fully Flexible across the week
