Role Objective

To support the Credit Control Manager in providing a professional credit control and administration service to the business.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Ensure customers adhere to their agreed payment terms
  • Employing collection techniques as appropriate, including letters, phone calls and stop lists
  • Liaise & communicate with internal departments ensuring customer disputes/queries are resolved in a timely manner
  • Prepare weekly/monthly debt reports for sales team highlighting issues that require attention
  • Daily/weekly/monthly review & reporting of aged debt
  • Process all credit applications and set up once approved
  • R/D`s updated on to the system and pursued daily
  • Dealing with customer queries and the supply of PODs and copy invoices as requested
  • Debtors policy procedures to be adhered to on all overdue balances
  • Ensure accounts with unpaid cheque or direct debits are placed on credit stop until issues are resolved to our satisfaction
  • Ability to prioritise work under pressure

The ideal candidate will have/be:

Education & Experience

  • At least five years` experience working within a busy Credit Control/ Administration environment
  • Oracle Knowledge essential
  • Highly systems oriented & literate
  • Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
  • Excellent business acumen & numerical ability
  • Deadline focused and the ability to prioritize tasks
  • Confident & challenging
  • Strong customer focus

Experience:

At least five years` experience working within a busy Credit Control/ Administration environment

-Oracle Knowledge essential
