Bakery Assistant
We are currently looking to recruit for a full time Bakery Assistant role for our Donnybrook store.
If you have strong teamwork skills and take pride in doing a great job, and want to work for an exciting and growing company then this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
Please do not apply for this role if you are unable to start as early as 6am for mid weeks shifts or, if you arent allowed to legally work 30+ hrs per week throughout the year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Baking bread & pastries
- Ensuring safe food handling and full HACCP compliance
- Day to day cleaning and maintenance of the deli/Bakery
- Providing the best customer service at all times
- Assist customers with queries regarding bakery/deli products
- Ensure store and department standards are met on a daily basis
- Daily orders submitted in timely manner
- Merchandise and present displays & department to the highest standard
- Stock & waste control ensuring that quality and freshness of goods are of the highest standard
The ideal candidate will have/be:
Ideal Candidate:
- Previous Bakery, Deli or similar experience will be an advantage
- Fully Flexible across the week
- Available for as early as 6 am start, including weekdays
- HACCP training is desirable
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work as part of the team
- Passion for food
