Ireland’s leading grocery retailer SuperValu has signed a new contract with Win Win, the Irish rewards and loyalty programme provider, which will deliver €10 million in direct revenue to Irish hotels in 2017 through SuperValu’s Getaway Breaks. Five new jobs will be created at Win Win to manage the expanded offering, bringing the total number of employees to 21. As part of the newly revamped Real Rewards programme, SuperValu’s Getaway Breaks offers customers an average of 30% savings on hotel and holiday home breaks at Ireland’s leading destinations. Through the new and improved Getaway Breaks, SuperValu is adding an additional 100 hotels to the programme, over 25 of which will be added to the Inspired collection - an exclusive selection of Ireland’s finest premium four and five star hotels. Ireland’s leading grocery retailer SuperValu has partnered with WIN|WIN, the Irish rewards and loyalty programme provider, which will deliver €10 million in direct revenue to Irish hotels in 2017 through SuperValu’s Getaway Breaks.

As part of the newly revamped Real Rewards programme, SuperValu’s Getaway Breaks offers customers an average of 30% savings on hotel and holiday home breaks at Ireland’s leading destinations. Through the new and improved Getaway Breaks, SuperValu is adding an additional 100 hotels to the programme, over 25 of which will be added to the Inspired collection – an exclusive selection of Ireland’s finest premium four and five star hotels.

Through the new and improved Getaway Breaks, SuperValu customers will have access to great value deals on over 1 million hotel rooms this year including 5* destinations such as Lyrath Estate Kilkenny, The G Hotel Galway and 4* destinations such as Maryborough House Hotel in Cork and Knockranny House Hotel, Westport. New website functionality means that customers can find the break they are looking for even more easily with a broad range of search filters and a simple to use calendar function showing availability,” explains Evelyn Moynihan, Head of Loyalty, SuperValu.
The Getaway Breaks programme is part of the recently relaunched SuperValu Real Rewards scheme which rewards customers for their loyalty. Real Rewards has about 1 million customers who can earn points by shopping in SuperValu, and who are benefiting from a growing list of exciting partners, where they can collect and use points on a wide variety of goods and services.

A double-whammy for SuperValu in the Prestigious Wine Awards

SuperValu Celebrates Momentous Double Win in Prestigious Wine Awards oSuperValu hit the ground running in 2017, receiving two awards in the prestigious Sunday Business Post’s Annual Gold Star Awards.
In true SuperValu style, the first award received was for ‘Best Retail Wine Innovation’, awarded for SuperValu’s excellence of ‘Display and Structure’ within the stunning off-licence set-ups nationwide.
For the second year in a row, SuperValu took home the title of ‘Best Supermarket Wine Outlet’ for its commitment to its modern refurbishments, upgraded off-licence areas and improving customer experience and offering in 2016.

Encouraging Northern Ireland to Live Well Every Day

Centra’s commitment to improving the health of their customers took a step forward last week with the launch of a new £1 million ‘Live Well’ strategy. Designed to address serious health issues, and championed by a team of tip top Ambassadors, the programme aims to educate and inspire consumers to make healthier choices and encourage communities across Northern Ireland to get active. By looking at “mind, body and soul” and passing on the advice, knowledge and tools to help people make healthier choices, Centra hopes their customers will get active and achieve balance in their life.

The holistic program will incorporate plenty of hints and tips to inspire you! Shane McGuigan will be sharing fitness plans on the Centra NI Facebook page; Jane McClenaghan will be designing a programme of healthy recipes; Bridgeen Rea will create a 10 week course to guide people through key tips on how to manage busy lives and associated stress and anxiety; and two time Olympian and Commonwealth Games champion, Johnny Davis, will drive forward and expand the Run Together programme.
You’ll also see a difference in store, with over 200 healthy new lines being introduced, including Healthy Hydration, Healthy Snacking, Health & Wellbeing and Chilled Convenience.
