It was celebrations all round as SuperValu and Musgrave MarketPlace both won accolades at two separate awards ceremonies this month.
SuperValu won no fewer than 11 prizes at the prestigious Irish Quality Food and Drink Awards across a range of categories including Meat, Milk, Fruit, Vegetables, Bread, Ready to Cook Meals, Sauces and Salad Dressings, Coffee, Red Wine and White Wine over €10. These prestigious awards recognise excellence in product development for Ireland’s food and drink producers, retailers and catering companies in Ireland.

Meanwhile in the first ever Irish Café Quality Food & Drinks Awards, Musgrave MarketPlace picked up the best ‘Added Ingredients-Savoury Product’ award for its Musgrave Excellence Curry Sauce. Musgrave Excellence Salted Caramel Muffins was also highly commended in the ‘Sweet Treats’ category. The awards recognise excellence in the Irish café sector and are open to national, regional and independent cafés as well as food producers, wholesalers, contract caterers and food service operators serving the Irish café industry.
