13 new Mace stores since so far in 2011

Mace continues to build on its growth in 2010, opening a further thirteen new stores since January 2011.

Mace has gone from strength to strength during a time when many brands are experiencing difficult trading conditions. This growth sees a joint investment of more than £1million and the creation of almost 80 full and part time jobs.

Graeme Kerr, Mace Sales Director said “2010 was a very successful year for Mace business development and that momentum has continued into 2011. The brand offers flexibility and support in equal measure which many independent retailers are looking for. Mace was updated and re-launched in recent years and the feedback we are getting from both our retailers and their shoppers is extremely positive.

To open so many new stores during a recession is a testament to the retailer belief in what we offer and the hard work put in by all our staff”.

The new stores are province wide from Belfast to Greenisland, Lurgan to Ahoghill and Donaghadee to Londonderry.
